This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term and Casual appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.



The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 27 December 2026. The first round of assessments will be held Friday 13 June 2025. For your application to be considered in this round, please have your applications submitted by 13 June 2025.



What is our Clinical Nurse role?


You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide direct nursing care and clinical support to women who attend BreastScreen WA. You will also facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care in the provision of clinical leadership and advanced professional expertise to the team.



Your responsibilities:



  • Facilitate appropriate referrals for women with abnormal screening results

  • Organise appointment bookings for those attending BreastScreen WA Program

  • Cooridinate patient flow at assessment centres

  • Assist the Breast Physician in giving results to clients by providing emotional support and education as required.
