About the Role:

WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is seeking experienced Consultant Physicians - General Medicine registered with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) to contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare across our regional hospitals.

About You:

Are you a Consultant Physician - General Medicine looking for a diverse and unique role in regional Western Australia?

Look no further! About the Role: As a Consultant Physician – General Medicine, you will undertake direct clinical care of patients, supervise the work of Registrars and Junior Medical Officers (JMO’s), and be involved in teaching junior medical staff as well as undertaking safety and quality initiatives.

About the Pool:

Joining the Consultant Physician General Medicine pool means submitting one application to be considered for multiple positions across WA Country Health Service (WACHS) throughout its duration.

You can specify your preferred locations and availability with your application.

Applications submitted via the Pool will be reviewed on a monthly basis.

Eligibility Criteria:




To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector, it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or hold permanent residency status in Australia.
