Lecturer Horticulture, Agriculture & Rural Operations



Salary: $93,426 – $120,651 pa pro-rata, LGA – Grade 1-9



Location: Karratha or Broome



Unit/Division: Training Services



Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time, Casual



About the Position



This position will be delivering Certificate I, II, III, IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management; Certificate II and III in Horticulture and associated short courses and skill sets such as chemical handling and chainsaw at Karratha and Broome campuses.



Considerable travel will be required for this role.



Requirements




  • Significant relevant industry/vocational or lecturing experience (minimum of 5 years)

  • Relevant vocational qualifications and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed including:

    • minimum Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (or equivalent) or;
    • minimum Certificate III in Agriculture, Horticulture or similar with significant industry experience in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
