WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is seeking experienced Psychiatry Registrars to join the Rural Psychiatry Training WA (RPTWA) program across rural Western Australia.
This Recruitment Pool is for Full time or Part Time Fixed Term appointments for existing RANZCP Trainees seeking to transfer to the RPTWA program. Appointments for up to 5 years (dependent on RANZCP training stage), with the possibility of extension.

Inclusive of base salary $135,729 to $185,418 p.a, professional development $10,969 p.a and 11.5% superannuation.

We are seeking to appoint to the position of Trainee Psychiatrist in various regions across WACHS. The successful applicant will work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary and medical teams.
The successful applicant will provide assessment and management for clients requiring specialist psychiatric care.
Under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist, this position provides clinical and formal supervised training experiences in rural generalist psychiatry, with Stage 3 trainees completing Certificates of Advanced Training considered on a case-by-case basis.
