Enhance health outcomes of our young patients in this autonomous role. This is a job pool for permanent part-time, fixed term and casual appointments for weekend only.
There are permanent part-time roles available across multiple weekend clinical areas in our weekend services as well as fixed term part-time leave cover.
In the Acute Respiratory/ICU role, you will work within the paediatric intensive care and high dependency units with young patients facing acute and deteriorating conditions, utilising your specialised skills in intubation and ventilation.
In the Subacute Respiratory role, you will also provide respiratory physiotherapy for patients with conditions such as cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis, employing manual techniques and specialised devices to enhance lung ventilation and clear secretions.
We are located at Perth Children’s Hospital and our Physiotherapy Department comprises over 80 dedicated professionals. We provide a comprehensive state-wide service to children aged 0-16 years including inpatient and outpatient services, with transition to adult care for those over 16 years.
